Shared Hope International
OBJECTIVE
Shared Hope International was founded by Congresswoman Linda Smith in 1998, and is a 501C-3 non-profit organization which exists to establish locally led efforts that serve the long-term restoration of a woman and child in crisis. International partners are strategically and sacrificially leading by building programs of intervention, restoration and prevention. Shared Hope International required a new interface design and new features for their website.
SOLUTION
Benjamin Nelson of Someday Soon Design and Randal Birkey and the team at BIRKEY.COM worked together on a new web design and interface, and add new features such as: secure online registration capabilities for the mid-term meetings on the Third World Congress Against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.
Other new features added:
• Site Search functionality
• Donation page functionality
• “Share the Hope” feature to recommend site to a friend
• “Sign Me Up” feature to opt-in subscribe to the e-newsletter list

Hi, I’m dealing with prostitutes in Cape Town South Africa and have had some trafficked woman I was helping. I’ve also had training on trafficking through FAAST INTERNATIONAL. I would like to know if you are doing anything in South Africa? We are expecting there to be a huge influx of trafficked woman and children for the FIFA World Cup here in 2010. And many are trying to legalize prostitution before then. If they do, we know what will happen, as it is in Amsterdam and other places where trafficking increases. We are getting more people on board and forming a policy which we will take to Government on why this should not happen. Please let me know what is happening with your Organization here.
Thanks so much.
